This is one of the simplest, but most rewarding meals I’ve ever made. The sausage adds all the flavor you need! If you don't like green beans (like me), you can substitute one small head to half-head of cabbage. Feel free to double the recipe if you're cooking for a crowd, or add more or less of anything depending on your taste. The best thing is, this dish is so easy that you can throw it together any time. Goes great with Jiffy cornbread!

Place potatoes into bottom of a large pot, followed by sausage and green beans or cabbage on top. Fill with just enough water to cover the potatoes (adding too much will make the broth bland). Heat to boiling over medium-high heat for about 1/2hr. or until the potatoes are cooked through, stirring occasionally.

Servings: 4-6
