What are knives all about? Why use a good quality knife?


The best answer I give people when they ask me about knives is that you get what you pay for. Sure you could use a steak knife to cut everything in your kitchen. You could even use a butter knife. Thats fun.

What are the most common knives in a kitchen?
Probably chef, meal prep knives and the other cutlery knifes. Every household has these kinds of knives, and they probably see the most use of any piece of cutlery. Most likely if you are reading this, you probably use a knife everyday to prepare food and cut.

So why is it that most pople are usually using the cheapest made knives?

People simply don't know what constitutes a fine knife.

The one item that is usually left out on the kitchen counter for all to see is the knives. They are nowadays mostly sheathed in a block, with their handles protruding upward for all to notice and admire.

It is time to start to appreciate and admire the most used kitchen tools.

Knives are sweet anyway! What guy doesnt like knives and who would not want to have the best for the best quality?
